Blake Lively Hilariously Trolled Husband Ryan Reynolds On Instagram During Valentine's Day

Ryan Reynolds is one of those people who makes you wish that you were never born. Not in a bad way, of course, it would just be nice if I didn’t have to live in a world that people like are him are also in.

You see, he’s perfect. Objectively, he’s a specimen worthy of being part of Hugo Drax’s Moonraker plan (a genetically flawless person who would be the basis for restarting humanity).

Usually that’s where it ends. You get a beautiful celebrity and the second they get on a chat show, they’re the most boring and narcissistic person you’ve ever heard talk, but not Ryan. No, Reynolds is hilarious and it’s not fair.

On top of that, he’s obviously wildly talented, he was fastest on the old Top Gear track-times board, and he has the perfect relationship with another equally perfect person, Blake Lively.

Valentine’s Day just passed and with that, you can imagine how wildly happy the couple would have been together on the day. Despite that, they still found the time to take the piss out of each other on social network – because that’s love.

It started when Reynolds posted the fairly innocuous – but still funny and lovely – picture of him and a cake he baked for his wife on Instagram, with the caption:

I baked this cake for my wife. The icing is glue, ’cause I’m not a scientist.

That was all well and good, and went down as well as you might have suspected it would. People in the comments called him daddy, asked him to do things to them, asked for him to follow them, and told him that he had the perfect relationship.

Later on, however, Reynolds was at the gym, and took the opportunity to post a picture or himself looking at his hands to the app. In the photo, it sort of looks like he’s using an invisible phone, hence the caption:

Ten minutes in to writing an email to my mom, when I realized there was no phone in my hand

And that’s when Lively got involved, taking the piss out of him for using dating apps…

Isn’t it weird that out of the dangerously poor film that was Green Lantern, something good was able to come from it. Without that, we wouldn’t be able enjoy the hijinks of a relationship that is far more fulfilling than one I could ever have would be.

There’s a cosmic balance – without the bad, you couldn’t get the good. We took the bullet of Green Lantern so Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds could be happy together. You’re welcome, their two kids.

How dare they be happy out loud?!
